Hotel blocks for ChiTown Shuffle and Las Vegas Events are provided by the tournaments, and it is mandatory for all players to book into those blocks; otherwise, our team may not be eligible for the event. Typically, these are provided approximately 4 weeks before the event.
Hotel blocks are offered as an option for Monarchy team players but are not mandatory for Monarchy-hosted events in Southern California.
FLIGHTS:
Please refrain from booking non-refundable or non-transferable flights until final schedules are released. Schedules are usually communicated about 4 weeks before the event, but in some cases, it may be as late as 2 weeks prior.
UNIFORMS:
The only mandatory purchase is the Monarchy jersey, which can be used for all Monarchy events (black socks are also required, and options are provided). The link to order Monarchy jerseys will be sent out; additional optional items are available for those interested but are not mandatory.
SPRING SKATES AND EVENT PREPARATION:
There are no preset mandatory team practice sessions before Monarchy events due to events happening across the country with players coming from North America. Coaches will communicate schedules as your team is finalized, and if possible, a team skate the day before an event may be added.
TEAM COMMUNICATION:
As your team is finalized (2-4 weeks before each event), you will receive an invitation to join a TeamSnap for communication and to meet your teammates.
ADDING ADDITIONAL EVENTS:
If considering additional Monarchy events on top of those already registered, revisit the website and submit another application for the desired event(s).
STATUS OF EVENT APPLICATIONS:
If you haven't heard back about an event you applied for, you may still be under review. Check your application status by reaching out via email to info@monarchyicehockey.com.
