Monarchy Hockey Dominates at Summer Scorcher with 4 Championships and 4 Runner-Up Finishes
Monarchy Hockey made a major statement over the 4th of July weekend, racking up four championships and four runner-up finishes at the Summer Scorcher tournament. With competitive matchups across every age group, it was a weekend packed with elite play, sportsmanship, and strong development.
In the 8U Division, it was an all-Monarchy showdown as Monarchy Covert defeated Monarchy Force 7-3 in a fast-paced championship game. Dominic Remelius was named MVP, showcasing skill, hustle, and leadership on both ends of the rink.
The 10U Open Division saw Monarchy Force come out on top, taking down LBD Summer 4-2 in a high-energy final, with the MVP being Lev Dunaev! The team’s balanced attack and strong defensive play carried them to victory.
Another all-Monarchy battle occurred in the 12U Elite Division, where Monarchy covert dominated Monarchy Stealth with an impressive 8-0 win. The team demonstrated depth, speed, and structure throughout the weekend.
In the 14U Open Division, Monarchy Smoke shut out Monarchy Stealth 7-0n with Kyle Sanders earning MVP honors. The Smoke squad brought intensity and execution from start to finish to secure the championship.
In the Midget Competitive II Division, Monarchy Stealth battled hard but came up just short, falling to the Toronto Tropics 3-2 in a tightly contested game.
We had a great weekend filled with exciting hockey and unforgettable memories. A huge thank you to all the families and coaches who supported and helped make this summer event such a success.
